28th April:

Second day of camping at Mr. Motilal Duggar residence. 6th Anniversary of Acharya Mahashraman’s ascendance to Acharya hood. H.H. had appealed for no celebration this year and rather use the occasion for spiritual well wishes for earthquake victims. Accordingly, after the breakfast mantra meditation session was organized in presence of H.H. Namashkar Mahamantra and sections of Logassa Stotra were chanted during this session.

This session was covered by popular Indian TV News channel “Aaj Tak” and “Headline Today”. Weather-wise it got cloudy during afternoon and rained heavily for a while.

29th April:



Relief work support by Terapanth volunteers continues

Acharya Mahashraman took a morning walk and visited erstwhile campsite at Baal Mandir, located in Naxaal area and also visited Bacchapokhri and Nagpokhri area passing by the Police Headquarters. Naxaal area seemed to be not much affected by the earthquake but it’s impact in Bacchapokhri and Nagpokhri area are quite visible. Many buildings were fully destroyed. H.H. took a close looks at debris of some of the destroyed buildings. People pointed at debris of one of the destroyed building and mentioned few dead bodies are still under it. The horrible earthquake is a past now but the impact is still fresh.
It was cloudy throughout the day and rained in night. Superintendent of Police Mr. Vinod Silwal visited H.H. today.

Acharya Mahashraman in discussion with community leaders for next steps


It was raining still in morning hours. Mild tremors are still occurring occasionally but it’s not felt at current campsite. The halted day-to-day life is slowly gaining momentum. Most of the daily activities of H.H. like Aagam editing, Aagam group reading session, people interaction have resumed. Discourse session hasn’t resumed yet.

Morning discourse sessions had been suspended since the earthquake. It has now been resumed from today onwards at the current campsite.



Nepalese film stars and producers visiting Acharya Mahashraman


Working President of Industry and Commerce organization Mr. Pashupati Muraraka, member of Board of Directors of Nepal Electricity Mr. Manoj Mishra, famous Nepalese singer Rekha Sharma, film actresses Karishma Manandhar, Jharna Thapa, film producer Sunil Thapa and Mr. Baburam Dahal visited H.H. today.

2nd May:

Acharya Mahashraman took a morning walk today as well. Daily lives of people have started to come back to normalcy to some extent. President of Indian Jain Association Mr. Prafulla Parekh visited H.H. today.

3rd May:

42nd Anniversary of Acharya Mahashraman’s initiation to monkhood. H.H. had appealed to use the occasion for spiritual well wishes for earthquake victims instead of any kind of celebration. Accordingly, mantra meditation session was organized in the morning hours in presence of H.H.

Acharya Shree mentioned - “we are practicing mantra for spiritual well wishes for earthquake victims.  Let their soul be in peace, let them be free from grief and we also purge our karma.” H.H. chanted Namashkar Mahamantra, “Charitta Bharahamvasam”, “Dhammo Mangal Mukkhittam”, “Namo Abhayadayanam” and “Danam Settham Abhayappayanam” together with all the people present.

H.H. also mentioned– “our monks and nuns value Guru’s guidance so much. Few days ago the Samani group was directed to depart from Kathmandu and as it is conducive, they have now left Kathmandu. Guru’s guidance has very high importance in our order.”

Economic Advisor of American Embassy Mr. Tapas Gupta visited H.H. today. Counsellor of Mexico Mr. Naresh Duggar visited H.H. in evening hours together with the rescue and relief team that came from Mexico to help earthquake victims. Around 25 people of Bageswari-Bhaktapur visited H.H in afternoon and described the pain they are going through because of the earthquake.


4th May:

Acharya Mahashraman visited few followers’ houses during morning walk. Ex-President of Nepal Army Mr. Rukmangat Katuwal visited H.H. today. Mr. Katuwal was walking together with H.H. on 25th April when the earthquake had occurred. Counsellor at Indian Embassy at Nepal Mr. Arush Jain, industrialist Mr. Satish Mor, Executive Advisor and CEO of Himalaya Times Mr. Naveen Jain also visited H.H. today.


5th May:

Ex-Commissioner of Nepal Police Mr. Kuber Singh Rana, Ex-Industry Minister Mr. Anil Jha, popular actor Mr. Deepak Raj Giri, popular actress Deepashree Niraula, President and members of Sadbhavana party, renowned industrialist of Nepal and President of Marwari Business Association Mr. Rajendra Khaitan, Ex-President of Municipality Mr. Kayamuddin, District Governor Mr. Bhim Ghimire visited H.H. today.

6th May:

Local Senator Mr. Gagan Thapa, film actress Jharna Thapa, actor Prakash Suvedi, Senior Journalist of Naya Patrika Mr. Sudip Kumar Dhungana visited H.H. today.

7th May: Prayer for Peace

Morning hour program was organized as meet for “Prayer for Soul’s Peace” in context of earthquake. It was attended by representatives of various religious organizations.

Dr. Chintamani Yogi, Seema Khan from International Religious Organization, Buddhist Nun Dr. Anuja, Bahai faith Guru Sh. Naresh Pandey,  President of Religion for Peace Mrs. Indira Manandhar, Gyani Gurbakhsha Singh from Sikh faith, President of Inter-religious society Mr. Damodar Gautam and Father Will Robin from Christian faith expressed their feelings and all prayed for peace for earthquake victims. As per guidance of H.H., two minutes silence was observed for spiritual well wishes for earthquake victims.

Indian Ambassador to Nepal Mr. Ranjit Ray, President of Nepal Vishwa Hindu Parishad Mr. Sashi Thapa, Advisor to Prime Minister of Nepal Mrs. Mridula Koirala, Ex-Minister Mr. Arjunrajsingh Kesi, Vedic tradition   Guru Pt. Dinabandhu Pokhrel, Education Minister of Nepal Mrs. Chitralekha Yadav visited H.H. today.
