Core of the Problem:Purification of emotion, aura and psyche, are all related to the soul. They can be described in one word as liberation from kashaay. Whenever one gets angry, that makes consciousness impure, nourishes the old dirt and adds a new layer. When one expresses ego, it intensifies the cover of ego on the consciousness. When one is deceitful, one not only deceives the other person but also adds a new leaf to selfdeceiving.
When one is greedy, one not only accumulates material things but also accumulates intense karmic particles. Although all the accumulated physical objects are left behind upon death, one never knows that the collected intense karmic particles will go with him or her and for how many lives and make him suffer the consequences.
The family of kashaay is not limited to these only, but hatred, fear, dislike for restraint, and attraction for non-restraint are also generated by kashaay. Kashaay is the root of all problems. It distorts one’s thinking to such an extent that the person is no longer able to see things in the right way. To be free from kashaay is the rectification of the inner world. Our education should help us in getting rid of the kashaay.
