Acharya Jeetmal Language: Rajasthani: 10~~ तीर्थंकर शीतल प्रभु सूरत थांरी मन बसै साहिब जी! शीतल जिन शिवदायका साहिब जी! शीतल चन्द समान हो, निसनेही। शीतल अमृत सारीषा साहिब जी! तप्त मिटै तुम ध्यान हो, निसनेही।।१।। वंदै निंदै तो भणी साहिब जीं! राग द्वेष नहीं ताम हो,निसनेही। मोह दावानल मटियो साहिब जी! गुण -निप्पन तुम नाम हो,निसनही।।२।। नृत्य करै तुझ आगलै साहिब जी! इंद्राणी सुर -नार हो,निसनेही। ऱाग भाव नहीं ऊपजै साहिब जी! अंतर तप्त निवार हो,निसनेही।।३।। क्रोध मान माया लोभ ए साहिब जी! अग्नि सूं अधिकी आग हो,निसनेही। शुकलध्यानरूपजलकरीसाहिबजी! थयाशीतलीभूतमहाभाग हो,निसनेही।।४।। इन्द्रिय नोइन्द्रिय आकार साहिब जी! दुर्जय नैं दुर्दात हो,निसनेही । तैं जित्या मन थिर करी साहिब जी! धर उपशम चित शांत हो,निसनेही।।५।। अंतरजामी! आपरो साहिब जी ध्यान धरूं दिन -रैन हो,निसनेही । उवाही दशा कद आवसी साहिब जी! होसी उत्कृष्टो चैन हो,निसनेही।।६।। उगणीसै पूनम भाद्रवी साहिब जी! शीतल मिलवा काज हो, निसनेही। शीतल जिनजी नैं समरिया साहिब जी! हिय शीतल हुवो आज हो,निसनेही।।७।।		Bhagwan Shitalanatha Srivatsa

अर्थ ~~10~तीर्थंकर शीतल प्रभु

प्रभु! तुम्हारी सूरत मन में बस रही है।

शीतल प्रभो! तुम शिवदायक और चाँद के समान शीतल हो।तुम अमृत- तुल्य हो। तुम्हारे ध्यान से ताप-संताप मिट जाता है।

प्रभो! कोई तुम्हारी वन्दना करता है, कोई निंदा।न वंदना करने वाले पर राग और न निन्दा करने वाले पर द्वेष।तुमने मोह दावानल को शीतल कर दिया,अतः तुम्हारा यह 'शीतल'नाम गुण-निष्पन्न है।

प्रभो! तुम्हारे सामने इन्द्राणी और अप्सराएं नृत्य करती है, फिर भी तुम्हारे मन में रागात्मक भाव उतपन्न नहीं होते,क्योंकि तुमने अंतस् ताप का निवारण कर दिया है।

प्रभो! क्रोध,मान,माया और लोभ-यह कषाय -चतुष्क अग्नि से अधिक तीव्र आग है।तुमने शुक्ल ध्यान रूपी जल के द्वारा उसे बुझा दिया।फलतः तुम शीतली भुत हो गये।

प्रभो! इन्द्रियां और मन प्रचण्ड, दुर्जय और दुर्दान्त है।तुमने मन को स्थिर कर उन्हें जीत लिया और उपशम भाव धारण कर चित्त को शान्त कर लिया।

अन्तर्यामिन! में दिन -रात तुम्हारा ध्यान करता हूँ।वही वीतराग दशा कब आयेगी? उसके आने पर उत्कृष्ट आनन्द का अनुभव होगा।

प्रभो! तुमसे साक्षात्कार करने के लिए मैने तुम्हारा सुमिरन किया ।इससे आज मेरा हृदय शीतल हो गया

English Translation:

10th Tirthankara Shitalnatha

Lord! Your idol is cherished in my heart.

Lord Shitalnatha! You are Shivdayak (One who shows the path of Moksha) and calm like the Moon. You are like ambrosia. The person who meditates you gets rid of sorrows.

Lord! Some people adore you and some criticise harshly, but you do not have any feelings of Raga about adoration and any Dvesha about criticism as well. You have soothed the fire of illusion i. e. your name 'Shital' is quality oriented.

Lord! No Raga feeling occurs inside you even if Indrani and Angels dance in front of you, because you have obviated intrinsic edginess.

Lord! The lust of the Kashaya Chatushk (Quartet) Krodh, Maan, Maya and Lobh is more intensified than the fire. You have extinguished that lust with the Shukla Dhyan like the water. Consequently, you became a calm soul.

Lord! Indriyas and Mana are terrible, formidable and devilish. You perpetuated the Mana and won all these and also ensoberd the Chitta by adopting the delight of Upasham (Solace).

O immanent! I cherish you day and night. When will that Vitaraga circumstance occur for me? Then, an extreme rejoice will be experienced.

Lord! I have recited you to have a divine adoration of yours. By this act my soul became calm today.
