In October 2006, there were many programmes arranged at JVB London and other places in presence of Samanijis Prasanna and Sambodh Pragya.
On Sunday 15th October, a programme with discussion was held for young Jains on the subject of Santhara. All the young Jains were very anxious to know about Santhara. Samaniji started the session with the chanting of Namokar Mantra which was carried on by the young Jains. During the discussion, they asked many questions which Samaniji answered in the context of Jain Agamas. All the Young Jains were happy to increase their knowledge of Santhara. They were satisfied and were very grateful to Samaniji for their guidance.
On 22nd October, the National Spiritual Assembly of the UK Baha'i arranged an interfaith observance for world peace at the London Interfaith Centre. There were representatives of Baha'i, Brahmakumari, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jain, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh and Zoroastrian faiths. Samaniji represented Jain religion. They chanted the Namokar Mantra in the English version. All representatives appreciated this prayer.
At the occasion of Diwali, the Women's Wing of JVBL arranged a children's cultural programme. ‘How to celebrate Diwali' was based on Bhagwan Mahavir's life. JVB School's students presented the traditional and realistic way of celebrating Diwali, the New Year and Bhai Beej. Samani Prasanna Pragyaji inspired the children to take vows to minimise violence, and all children took the following vows for one year: Not plucking flowers and plants; not walking on grass; not setting off fireworks; not throwing stones into water; not wasting water. After having taken the vows, the children were very happy. The Women's Wing members presented a song about the principles of Bhagwan Mahavir. On behalf of Nirmal and Pushpa Banthia, Rashmi Banthia gave a gift to every child.
