On Sunday 27th November 2005, a function was celebrated at Sayer Centre in North West London (address below), the new location for JVB London's activities. Manik Choraria, trustee of Jain Vishva Bharati welcomed the Samanijis and guests at the new venue and said that now big facilities are available to organise different activities for the community. Manik has made it possible to increase scope and sphere of JVB London’s activities; he acts as spiritual cosmopolitan Jain, combining western formation with Indian warmth and affection.

Sayer Centre is part of a business complex with excellent facilities for all kind of centre activities such as meditation, lectures, classes, and charity functions, open for the London Jain community and everyone interested in Jainism and Indian culture. Manik Choraria has named it after his mother, Sayer Choraria, who is heart and soul of the three brothers’ families in London. They are living close together, nearly like joined families, but in different houses, respecting everyone’s privacy.

The programme started at 10.00 a.m. with Mangalacharan by Nina, Shivani, Puja, and Rashmi Choraria. Samani Pratibha Pragya started her speech with Mantra recitation, and expressed hopefully to work for awaking spirituality through Preksha Meditation and spreading Jain philosophy for all age groups. She read a special message from H.H. Acharya Mahaprajna where he gave his blessings for the centre, which will according to him work for the great cultural heritage of India.
Vinod Kapasi, president of Mahavira Foundation U.K. greeted the Choraria family and thanked them for providing a new place for JVB activities.
Samani Punya Pragya did the master of ceremonies for the function.

Usual Sunday Classes as per normal schedule followed this programme, Samani Pratibha Pragya conducted adult’s class, and Samani Punya Pragya conducted children’s classes with a team of trained teachers.

On the same day, a 24 hours Japa Programme was held. Many people participated with great interest.
