On 9th March 2007, inauguration of Tulsi Bhawan in Jaigaon, Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal, near the Bhutan border, was celebrated in presence of Samani Nirdeshika Sanmati Pragyaji, disciple of Acharya Mahaprajnaji. People expressed their gratitude towards Acharya Mahaprajnaji for sending a group of four Samanis for this program. Tulsi Bhawan is named after the ninth Terapanth Acharya Tulsi.
The program started with an eloquent speech by Nirdeshika Sanmati Pragyaji. In her impressive mode of speaking, she inspired her audience to follow rules and regulations of Jain tradition.
She further explained that the terms ‘Jain’ and ‘non-violence’ are just like two sides of a coin. She suggested to practice the principle of non-absolutism in daily routine to lead a peaceful life.

Samani Lavanya Pragyaji spoke on the difficulty to attain sainthood and expressed the hope that people might use the Bhawan for the benefit of the society. Samani Vipul Pragyaji sang a song.
People from nearby towns expressed their feelings as how much they appreciate the inauguration of Tulsi Bhawan in Jaigaon. Local Mahila Mandal and Yuvak Parishad sang a welcome song. Sri Poonam Chand Bothra hosted the program.

The evening program was an impressive performance by Sri Kamal Sethia, a renounced singer. He sang Bhajans (songs of religious nature) continuously for five hours, which the audience highly enjoyed.
