According to Jain epistemology, in an extra-sensory perception, the object is comprehended by consciousness as it is. The difference, which is created between the perceived quality and the objective quality due to the interruption of sensory equipment in sensory perception, is totally eliminated in E. S.P. Thus, the taste of an apple comprehended through an e.s.p. would be exactly the same as the objective taste existing in the apple.[1]
In our symbolic language, ‘S’ becomes equal to zero and P = 0.
