३३. क्रोधी मानी थका मरे तेहने, न वरें अपछरा आण I
One, who dies, having the thoughts of rage and egoism, cannot expect to be garlanded by the fairies.
३४. जे कोइ साध सती ने सतावें, ते जीव सुख किहांथी पावें I
How can he be happy who mortifies monks and nuns?
३५. जेहने जेहवा कर्मज संचिया, तेहवा उदे हुवे आय I
जिण बोयो छे पेड बंबूल को, ते अंब कियां थी खाय II
Everyone has to enjoy the fruits of his Karmas, bad or good. A person who sows Acacia Arabica (Babool) cannot hope to reap mangoes.
३६. ते पाप उदय दुख उपजे, जब कोई म करजो रोस I
आप कीधां जिसा फल भोगवे, कोइ पुदगल रो नहीं दोस II
One should not feel outraged if unhappiness results from sinful acts. Living beings have to reap the fruits of their actions. For this Karmic atoms cannot be blamed.
३७. करमां गति छें बांकडी ते लोपी किणसूं न जाय I
The dynamics of Karmas is immutable. It cannot be undone.

३८. जेहवी करणी तेहवा फल लागसी, पिण करणी तो बांझ न कोय I
As you sow, so shall you reap. No Karma is fruitless.
३९. जेहवो बीज वावें, तेहवा फल लागें I
As you sow, so shall you reap.
४०. एक नर पण्डित प्रवीण, एकण ने अखर ना चढ़े I
There are people and people. One set is erudite and efficient; another cannot even read the letters of the alphabet.

४१. मीगंण्यां री अग्नि उकरालिमा, धप अधिकी आय I
ज्यूं कामभोग भोगव्यां थकां, तृष्णा अधिकी थाय II
As the dung catches more and more fire, more and more heat is generated. Likewise, the more one indulges in passions, the more the craving one has for it.

४२. जो कायर करें पचखांण, तो विकलाइ करें I
त्यां जीतब जनम बिगाडिंयो II
A coward breaks all the vows he takes. Thus his life deteriorates.
कुगुरु
‘A Bad Guru’
४३. विण अंकुस जिम हाथी चाले, घोडो विगर लगाम I
एहवी चाल कुगुरु री जांणों, कहिवा नें साधु नांम II
The elephant is moving about without the iron hook to control it and the horse is moving about without a bridle. Their moving is uncontrolled. Likewise, the life of a bad guru is also uncontrolled. He pretends to be a sadhu, but he is bereft of self-restraint.
४४. आभे फाटे थीगरी, कुण छ देवणहार I
ज्यूं गुर सहीत विगडीयो, त्यारे चिहुं दिस परिया बघार II
Who can effectively deal with it, if the skies themselves burst? When both the guru and the disciple become depraved, the situation is like that of a pot developing holes all over. Who can remedy such a situation?
४५. कालो नाग छे अतिही भूंडो, ते एकण हीज भव मारें I
कुगुर उंधी सरधा सूं, अनन्ता जामण मरण वयारें II
The black cobra is extremely dangerous. It bites and kills a man but once. How much more dangerous is a bad guru who betrays the faith of a disciple and us makes him die again and again.

People get frenzied in rage even as corn pops when roasted.

४७. जो थारें दिल कांय न बेंसे, तो सगलो झगड़ो चूको I
समता आदर नें कजीया छोडो, जिण तिण आगें म कूको II
If your heart refuses to take anything in, never mind. Live with equanimity, give up quarrelling and do not invite pity.

४८. मांहो मांहि निजर पड्यां खीजे, त्यांने उपमां स्वान तणी दीजे I
Those who start quarrelling at the very sight of each other are like dogs.

४९. समचें दान में धर्म कहें तो, नांइ जिण धर्म सेली I
आक नें गाय रो दुध अग्यानी, कर दीयो भेल सभेली II
He who considers mere charity as religion has not understood the essence of Jainism. Such an ignorant person is mixing up cow's milk with the whitish juice of calotropis gigantean.
