Acharya Tulsi has dedicated his entire life to the noble cause of spreading peace and nonviolence in the world. Though he belongs to a Jain religious sect, he is thoroughly nonsectarian in his outlook. His commitment to nonviolence, humanism, and peace is total. The Anuvrat Movement which he launched to cleanse the world of hatred, intolerance, apartheid and violent conflicts epitomizes his philosophy of life.
Anuvibha was launched to carry the great Acharya's message overseas in 1983. We feel heartened to say that it is gradually emerging as a global institute for the study and promotion of nonviolence. Besides a number of constructive endeavours it has undertaken, it has also decided to embark on a new venture of bringing out useful books in English on Acharya Tulsi and his message of Anuvrat. The Book 'Acharya Tulsi - A Peacemaker Par excellence' us an English rendering of a small Hindi book on Acharyashree's life by his many-splendored successor Yuvacharya Mahapragya. He has had intimate association with the hitherto unknown facets of Acharyashree's personality and has the necessary competence to present his portrait in a vivid realistic perspective. We are sure this book will prove immensely useful to those who want to know of the great man's life and work.
Anuvibha owes its gratitude to the members of Surana family of Parihara whose courtesy made the publication of this book possible.
