Acharya Tulsi became the head of the Terapanth Dharma Sangh at a relatively young age of 22 years. We do not come across any other instance of such a young monk having ever been chosen as the Acharya in our religious history. His Acharyaship has acquired a new dimension on account of the dignity he has lent to this high office. The right-minded people said, "We do not consider you merely the Acharya of Terapanth Dharm Sangh. We think of you as the Acharya of dharma.
On his having completed 25 years of Acharyaship, Dhaval Samaroh was organized. Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, the then Vice President of India, presented Abhinandan Granth (a felicitation volume) to him.
Acharyashree has now entered the fiftieth year of Acharyaship. Amrit Samaroh is being celebrated to mark this glorious event. Acharyashree has churned the sea of wisdom for 50 years. The process of distributing the 'nectar' obtained from his long search is called Amrit Mahotsva.
It is hoped that the celebration will awaken a desire in every individual for ushering in an era of nonviolence and peace. It will prove helpful in the fulfilment of this dream.
