A no. of techniques for the practice of meditation are in vogue in the world. Prekshadhyan is one of those. This technique was evolved by His Holiness Acharya Shri Mahapragya under the inspiration and guidance of His Holiness Acharya Shri Tulsi. In the past four decades this technique has gained fame nationally and internationally. Not only sufficient literature has been published on the subject but also a number of training camps have been organized. Acharya Shri Mahapragya has been the champion of this technique. For quite some time, a need for a perfect and authentic book on Prekshadhyan was felt so as to have uniformity amongst trainers on instructions during the camps and other programmes. In this context 'Prekshadhyan: Darshan aur Prayog (Philosophy and Practice) was published in Hindi. The present book takes care of practical aspects of Prekshadhyan and it is expected that all the trainers and practitioners of Prekshadhyan will follow it.

Even on the last day of his life, Acharya Mahapragya has put in his contribution for the development of this book. Mukhya Niyojika Sadhvi Vishrut Vibha kept on writing what Acharya Shri has narrated. It is expected that this book will be able to present the 'Techniques of Prekshadhyan' in clear and sequential way.
