Rational Intelligence Is Goddess Of Wealth
Intelligence is very important in human beings. But an intelligent person should only use his intellect for good and purposeful causes. Intelligence like a devil's workshop should be shunned. Negative intelligence only makes us accumulate sins.
Once the minister of Jodhapur state, by name of Vijayasinghji, came to Bhikshu swami and asked him a question - Is the earth ending or not?
On receiving an appropriate and satisfactory answer, the minister told Bhikshu Swami that with his kind of intelligence, Bhikshuji should be advising kings and helps them run their kingdoms.
On hearing his praise Bhikshu swami remained calm. He said a person's wisdom should be used for spiritual self-realization. Hence one should use ones brains positively inclined towards religious enlistment Intellect that binds a person to something will stop growing.
It is rightly said - Intelligence combined with a pure mind is like goddess of wealth. It can fulfil all our needs. It obstructs obstacles. It leads us from impure to pure. Seeing our purity, others can get influenced towards betterment.
