Empiricism is another trend of idealism. According to it, when we think about anything or perceive it by senses, the object comes into existence. In itself, no external object has a real objective existence. Thus, in empiricism, perception is considered to be the essence of reality.
In addition to these, there are several more forms of idealism prevalent in the western philosophy.
