Preksha Meditation & Human Health: 6.1 Intra-Group Comparison

Published: 25.09.2015

Intra-group comparison is a comparison of dependable variables within the group. In the pre and post designs study both the control and experimental groups will be separately compared at their different stages of experiment. This comparison will help to evaluate whether there is any positive effect of yogic practices on various neuro-physiological, cardiovascular and respiratory parameters of the individual subjects of experimental group. Each group's parameters are tested for their significance of difference at onset phase and follow-up phases and between the two phases. A similar strategy and sequence of testing differences will also be applied for control group too. To evaluate the distinct effect of yogic practices a one tailed Sandler's "A" test with pd"0.05 will be considered as the criterion of significance.
