The basal mean value of DBP in experimental group of subjects was found to be 77.169 ± 5.978 mmHg. After 2, 6 and 12 months of experimental intervention the DBP was reduced to 75.6056 ± 4.673,74.507 ± 3.671 and 72.971 ± 3.215mmHg respectively in experimental group of subjects having very high level of statistical significance (p < 0.0005) as shown in Table BP 4, and Fig. R 4.

The mean values of DBP of both the groups i.e. control group and experimental group of subjects, at the beginning of the experiment were in similar range (76.8169 ± 5.978 and 77.1690 ± 5.9785 mmHg) without any significant difference in between them. But a significant difference (p £ 0.01 and p £ 0.001) was observed when the mean values of control group at 6 months and 12 months (76.662 ± 6.524 and 76.577 ± 6.679 mmHg) were compared with the same of experimental group (74.507 ± 3.671 and 72.971 ± 3.215 mmHg) respectively (Table BP 6).
