08.09 Sadasadvedye

Shātāvedaniya and Ashātāvedaniya are the two categories of Vedaniya Karma.

Vedaniya Karma is of two types. That, which provides favorable situations and can be comfortably availed of, is called Sharāvedaniya; while that, which results in unfavorable situations and can be borne with discomfort and hardships, is called Ashātāvedaniya.
