Konasana
(Angle Posture)
Kon means 'Angle' in Hindi language. While practicing this asana body forms an angle and hence the name Konasana. This is another asana, which is practiced in a standing position.
Method
Stand on floor in Sampadasana. Inhaling deeply and slowly take right hand straight up, keeping arm as close to ear as possible. Bend towards left as much as you can. Remember that elbow should not bend and spine as well as buttocks remains stationary. Exhale, straighten body and bring your hand down slowly. Follow same process with left arm.
