Newspapers are becoming the medium of criminal activities. If we see any newspaper, we will observe the news of murder, beating, robbery, accident etc. on the headlines. Why? We admit that crimes are occurring rapidly, but it is not the way to find out the solution. Sometimes it appears that these news and scenario are provoking criminal mentality to the youngsters and teenagers generation. The measure to change such criminal mentality is neither the punishment of hanging and imprisonment nor legal step and counselling. If these were being the measures of solution, situation would have changed a lot. In order to settle any problem, two types of measures are applied—immediate measures and long-term measures. Measures which are being applied to change the criminal mentality are mostly immediate. No such long-term measures are appearing in front which may eliminate the basic instincts of crime. Only by irrigating leaves and flowers, plant cannot be green. Plant imbibes its life from the root. Immediate solution cannot change the temperament of man. For this purpose, criminal habits are to be changed. Education is the universal requirement of life. The entire world is clubbed with it. Understanding of the boy develops by education. If we have to acclimatize the next generation with good and healthy habits and prevent them from being penetrated into the vicious circle of crimes, we have to transmit the values of life through education. Today the terms of moral and religions teaching have become obsolete. These terms are being prepared to reflect communalism. A boy of modern age wants to perceive religion framed in science. Life Science is such an exercise which teaches the technique to refine the tastes and healthy and good habits of the student. Modem education burdens the boy with the bundle of books, but does not transform bookish knowledge into practical guidance. This is the root cause of the problem. Life Science is endeavouring to divert the educational system towards directive applicability much. It is such a course which teaches less but provides directive applicability. Its next step is to delete the unwanted elements from the course and include the necessary inputs. I believe that this directive application being carried out with the purpose of developing a total personality and detaching the same from stereotype process will be a success. Violence is such a problem which is terrifying the entire world. Sermon of non-violence cannot detach the person from violence. If training of non-violence is imparted to the student from the beginning, evil habits of violence will not have the opportunity to crop up. A fully-fledged scheme is to be formulated for the training process of non-violence. If it is implemented in schools, the shine of non-violence may brighten.and it may be capable to face the challenge of violence.
