In the history of human life some such undesirable events have happened, are happening which humanity cannot forgive. Amidst these events -conflicts due to caste-differentiation, colour- differentiation, provincial-differentiation and religious - differentiation and sufferings caused to innocent people as a result of these conflicts, have tarnished the image of our culture. While release from jail of non-white leader of South Africa ‘Nelson Mandela’ after sustaining terrible sufferings, may be regarded as a small initiative to eliminate that tarnished image.
Among the persons who started agitation in protest against the problem arising out of colour-differentiation, the name of Mahatma Gandhi can be recalled gloriously. He started that struggle at that time when India itself was struggling for independence. Mahatma Gandhi was not only the preserver of human values but he was also the promoter of the same. He was a man with Indian Spirit, but he was entirely dedicated to humanity. He was not agreeable to divide India into two parts at any cost. But he had to bow down before the inevitable consequence. It may be possible that even today his soul might be grooming in pain caused by the division.
In the process of the release of Nelson Mandela, President of South Africa De Clerk has taken a bold step overlooking the objection even of his own people. His boldness has been appreciated everywhere. Two points have come out of this: First point is the policy of colour-differentiation which is inhuman. No caste or class is inferior only because of being non-white. No nation can lift its image in the eyes of the world by suppressing any caste or class—this is another fact.
The circumstance for which Mandela started his struggle is relevant even today as in the past, rather it should be said is also present today. That is why the struggle of Mandela for independence is that it has intensified its power. Reactions expressed by the nations of the world having faith in humanitarian approach, have motivated to face the challenge of injustice boldly.
Anuvrat is patronizing human values. It does not entertain the discrimination on the basis of caste, colour etc. Release of Mandela is the implementation of the principles of Anuvrat. Anuvrat aspires that problem which is emerging in the world due to the feeling of caste, colour etc., efforts should be made at international level to eliminate the same. Functionaries of Anuvrat will contribute to this effort earnestly.
