Acharya Shree Tulsi - A Legend Of Humanity: The Love for Suppressed Class

Published: 14.01.2014

Acharya Tulsi believed in equality of all humans. In those days talking to lower caste was not appreciated. Once at Ladnun, he allowed some suppressed class in his discourse assembly. Some people raised the objection and wanted them to leave the place. Acharya Tulsi protested, "They are also human. Let them listen to the discourse." Hearing these words they kept silence, but, were not happy.

A 'suppressed class convention' was organized after some time in the guidance of Acharya Tulsi. The followers became rebellion and aggressively said, "We would not allow suppressed class to enter our religious place. They cannot sit with us. When Acharya Shree heard this issue he came and addressed, "Some people do not want suppressed class to enter. If you forbid them then I will be banned. Jain religion does not believe in caste system. Every human has right to practice religion. I will make my discourse open for all. I will talk to everyone. Wherever I am, they can come without hesitation. Why do you indulge in the conflict of caste system?"

The followers listened to and followed His words, but could not digest heartily. With the due course of time, they understood that their belief was unfair.
