A Practical Approach to Religion.

Our goal as a Jain is to liberate our soul from the infinite karmas - the root cause of our miseries. BUT one can only do that if we understand what causes those Karmas.

This half-day workshop is recommended to all members who are interested in knowing about "Religion" in a very practical way. This workshop will involve humor, audience participation, and audio/video to help comprehend our religion better. 

 

We always have a habit of listening...but this time we will think, analyze, and make an attempt to change our day to day life by looking at 4 main root causes of suffering - 4 Kashays [Passions: Anger, Ego, Deceit, Greed].

 

How do we recognize these 4 passions in our day to day life? How do we overcome them? Let us understand them in detail and overcome these hurdles to achieve Moksh [True Happiness]. 

 

Date: Sunday, 26th April, 2015 - 10am to 12.30pm at JCSC followed by lunch.
