The Fundamental teachings of Jainism
In essence, Jainism addresses the true nature of reality. Lord Mahavira explained that all souls are equal in their potential for perfect knowledge, perfect vision, perfect conduct, unlimited energy and unobstructed bliss. However, from eternity the soul is in bondage of karmic particles of matters and is ignorant of its true nature.
It is due to karma that the soul migrates from one life cycle to another and seeks pleasure in materialistic belongings and possessions and suffers. It is due to ignorance that the soul continuously accumulates new karma as it feeds the passions such as anger, ego, deceit, greed, lust, hatred, and self-centered violent thoughts.
One can detach from karma and attain liberation by following the path of Right Faith (Samyaka-darshan), Right Knowledge (Samyaka-jnän), and Right Conduct (Samyaka-chäritra).
What are these? In short, an inclination towards valid discrimination between what is worthy of rejection and what is worthy of acceptance is Right Faith. A comprehension arrived at through the instrumentality of truth is Right Knowledge. With Right Knowledge, one gets rid of all passions such as anger, ego, deceit and greed - all attachment & hatred - enjoys his/her own true nature and that is the Right Conduct. Right Conduct includes nonviolence, self-purification, compassion, austerity, penance, non-possessiveness, non-absolutism, and meditation. The spiritual path is determined by this integrated trinity. Not one, not two but all three are needed to attain Moksha (Nirwana/ liberation). The order of attainment is first Right Faith, second Right Knowledge and last Right Conduct.
(Right Faith and Right Knowledge are like light and heat of sun - they always happen together).

1-तुम अदभुत,
दिगंबर सन्यासी,
जैसे अंदर,
वैसे बाहर,
हम ढंके हैं,
कपडों से,
बाहर योद्धा,
अंदर कायर।
2-तप तुम्हारा,
अदभुत है,
हम नहीं,
कर पाएंगे,
औरों की खातिर,
भ्रमण पथ पर,
कभी नहीं,
हम जाएंगे।
3-तुम तपसी,
तप सकते हो,
तपो अकेले,
चलो अकेले,
मोक्षः मिले तो,
हमें भी देना,
हमारे लिए,
दुनिया के मेले।
4-एक पिच्छी,
एक कमंडल,
संपत्ति तुम्हारी,
इतनी है,
भर सकता,
आकाश भी,
चाहत हमारी,
जितनी है।
5-तुम मुक्त,
हर बंधन से,
प्रतिदिन के,
क्रंदन से,
नमन तुम्हे,
जब करता हूँ
पुण्यों की झोली,
भरता हूँ।
6-समस्त आकाश,
वस्त्र तुम्हारा,
और बिछौना,
धरती है,
हर कदम,
साथ तुम्हारे,
खुद प्रकृति,
नर्तन करती है।
7-तुम सहज,
सागर हो जैसे,
मार्गदर्शक,
जीवन के ऐसे,
बस मुस्कुराओ,
झोली भरदो,
एक आर्शीवाद से,
अमर करदो।
