उत्कल धरा के प्रमुख शहर के विख्यात कटक में अपनी अहिंसा यात्रा व धवल सेना के साथ सात दिवसीय प्रवास के साथ तेरापंथ धर्मसंघ के महाकुंभ कहे जाने वाले मर्यादा महोत्सव के 154वां समारोह सुसम्पन्न कर तथा कटकवासियों में आध्यात्मिक चेतना का संचार कर महातपस्वी, शांतिदूत, तेरापंथ धर्मसंघ के एकादशमाधिशास्ता आचार्यश्री महाश्रमणजी अपनी धवल सेना के साथ शनिवार को कटक स्थित तेरापंथ भवन से मंगल प्रस्थान किया और लगभग बारह किलोमीटर का विहार परिसम्पन्न कर कटक जिले के नाराज स्थित सिद्धेश्वर विद्या मंदिर के प्रांगण पहुंचे।

इसके पूर्व जब आचार्यश्री अपनी धवल सेना के साथ कटक स्थित तेरापंथ भवन से विहार कर रहे थे तो मानों भवन के आसपास के सड़कें और गलियां पूरी तरह से श्रद्धालुओं से भरी हुईं थीं। सभी अपने आराध्य को विदा कर रहे थे लेकिन भारी मन से। समताधारी आचार्यश्री सभी पर आशीष वृष्टि कर जैसे-जैसे आगे बढ़ रहे थे वैसे-वैसे कटकवासियों का हृदय की धड़कनें तेज हो रही थीं और इसके साथ तीव्र हो रही थी उनके द्वारा लगाए जा रहे जयघोषों की आवाज जो पूरे कटक को महाश्रमणमय बनाने में सक्षम थीं।

आचार्यश्री नाराज स्थित सिद्धेश्वर विद्या मंदिर प्रांगण में बने प्रवचन पंडाल में उपस्थित श्रद्धालुओं को पावन प्रेरणा प्रदान करते हुए कहा कि शास्त्र में तीन आयाम बताए गए हैं-प्रथम याम, मध्यम याम तथा पश्चिम याम। वैसे याम के अनेक अर्थ होते हैं। यहां याम का अर्थ अवस्था के विषय में बताया गया है। मनुष्य जीवन को तीन यामों में विभक्त किया गया है। प्रथम याम अर्थात बचपन, मध्यम याम अर्थात जवानी व पश्चिम याम अर्थात बुढ़ापा। इन तीनों अवस्थाओं में आदमी साधुत्व को प्राप्त कर सकता है। आदमी को यह तीनों याम अच्छे बीतें, इसका ध्यान रखने का प्रयास करना चाहिए। जीवन अच्छा बीते इसके लिए आदमी को प्रथम याम अर्थात बाल्यावस्था में ज्ञान का अर्ज करने का प्रयास करना चाहिए। इस अवस्था में जितनी अच्छी ज्ञान की साधना, आराधना हो जाए तो आगे का जीवन अच्छा हो सकता है। जो माता-पिता इस अवस्था बच्चों को ज्ञान का अर्जन नहीं करने देते वह मां वैरी और पिता शत्रु के समान होता है। ज्ञानार्जन के बिना मानव जीवन में एक कमी रह जाती है। जो आदमी प्रथम याम में ज्ञानार्जन, मध्यम याम में धन का अर्जन और तो पश्चिम याम में क्या कर पाएगा। वह आदमी के जीवन की एक कमी रह जाती है।

इसलिए आदमी को अपने जीवन को अच्छा बनाने के लिए बाल्यावस्था में ज्ञानार्जन का पूर्ण प्रयास करना चाहिए। द्वितीय याम में आदमी को धनार्जन के साथ ही धर्म का अर्जन भी करने का प्रयास करना चाहिए। इसके लिए आदमी नियमित रूप से एक सामायिक करने का भी प्रयास कर सकता है। आदमी जब साठ वर्ष के बाद पश्चिम याम में पहुंचे तो आदमी को धन में धर्म मंे ज्यादा समय लगाने का प्रयास करना चाहिए और अपनी आत्मा का परम कल्याण करने का प्रयास करना चाहिए। इस प्रकार तीनों यामों को अच्छा बना अपने जीवन को गंवो का नहीं, संवारने का प्रयास करना चाहिए।

आचार्यश्री के मंगल प्रवचन के उपरान्त इस विद्यालय के प्रधानाध्यापक श्री विभूतिभूषण स्वाईं ने आचार्यश्री के अपने विद्यालय में पदार्पण को लेकर अपनी हर्षाभिव्यक्ति दी और आचार्यश्री से पावन आशीर्वाद प्राप्त किया।
