Ahimsa Yatra reached Chathannoor today. In the scorching sunshine the Vihar was approximately 13 km long.
His Holiness Acharya Mahashraman preached in today's Prime Sermon about resolution with the example of a story - A Saint came in a town. Thakur (traditional landlord) engrossed in the Sermon along with the villagers. Each person accepted some spiritual resolution. Saint asked the Thakur to accept some resolution. Thakur replied - I am unable to follow resolutions. Saint - a little one? Thakur - Okay! One I will accept. I will not eat potato for lifelong after this moment. People became so happy that Thakur has also accepted some spiritual resolution. Saint got Thakur to accept the resolution of never eating potato. After some time one Thakur was invited to attend a marriage party. When serving person to him with potato curry with garlic. Thakur wanted to eat that but he had resolution so it could spoil his image among people if he eats potatoes. Accidentally some pieces of potatoes got fallen in Thakur's plate from the server. Thakur quickly picked the pieces and put them in mouth. People remind him - Thakur! you have accepted the resolutions of not eating potatoes. Thakur ate the potato by saying - this is not potato. This is a roll and came to me through waggling. This is the diminished responsibility. If we follow resolutions with strong will power then it is a sincere matter.
