Following the massive earthquake in Nepal on Apr. 25, more than 300 Akhil Bharathiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad volunteers are serving in Nepal towards relief work under the guidance of Acharya Mahashraman with well-equipped medical van and three ambulance.
The Parishad has also taken the task of mobilising resources and funds from across India to provide medical and food relief and for constructing permanent shelters in quake hit areas.
Terapanth Yuvak Parishad, Mysuru, in association with JCI Mysore Royal City and Sri Sthanakwasi Yuva Sanghatan, has mobilised funds from Jain community towards Nepal relief work - Rs. 8 lakh and Rs. 3 lakh worth of resources were handed over to Parishad’s National Treasurer Vimalji Katariya at a press meet held at Terapanth Bhavan in city on May 3.
Members of JCI Mysore Royal City, Sri Sthanakwasi Yuva Sanghatan, Human Touch and Terapanth Yuvak Parishad were present on the occasion.
