The psychic colour of sukla lesya is bright white like the light of the full moon. This colour symbolizes godliness, piety, tranquillity and emancipation.
A practitioner must not become complacent with his success with taijasa lesya and padma lesya. The goal is not yet reached. Self-realisation is the main object of sukla dhyana (i.e. the highest type of meditation) and is fulfilled by the meditation of sukla lesya. Only when we accomplish this, we shall be able to comprehend the distinction between the material and the spiritual or psychical. The process of self-realisation is creation of nirvikalpa cetana i.e. an exclusive state of consciousness par excellence, which is free from vikalpa i.e. wavering as well as emotions of like and dislike, and feelings-of pleasure and pain.
