He went in search of his brother, and incidentally his younger brother took a short-cut to reach home. When" Manmal reached near the hotel, he was caught in the vicious circle of the fire and was thrown seven feet away in to a pit. His face was totally burnt in the accident and burns affected his eyes. Immediately he became unconscious. In this incident of the hotel five people died on the spot.
‘When Manmal regained his consciousness, he was constantly reciting the Mantra, ‘Om Bhikshu.’ He was unable to open his eyes properly. His face was still having effect of burning. He gathered all his energy in chanting the Mantra reached home. As he was going out of the house he had asked his brothers and sisters to bolt the door. But when he reached home, he was astonished to find that the door was unbolted and to his surprise it closed automatically. Unfortunately his parents were not at home. When his brothers, and sisters saw is condition, they were shocked. They called their uncle and took him to the hospital. And to their dismay no hospital was Open. At last they went to a private doctor. By this time his eyes were badly swollen and his face was very frightening. When Manmal heard that five people had died on the spot, he thought that he would not survive either. He said, “I am reciting the Mantra. If I survive, I would go on a three-day fast and then visit my Guru Acharya shree Tulsi in Delhi. If I die, I would distribute all wealth among the poor.” The pain in his eyes was increasing constantly. Although the doctor tried his best, he could not succeed. Finally, he stopped taking any medicine and accepted the ultimate shelter of Bhikshu. To everyone’s astonishment he gradually recovered.
