Acharya Shree Tulsi was on his way to Marwar from Mewar. After celebrating the Maryada Mahotsava in Bhilwara. For entering Marwar, one has to cross a dangerous valley. On the same route many families were with Acharya Shree and Ganeshmalji Chajjer from Devagarh was one of them. His luggage was being carried by a bullock-cart.
It was biting cold and by mistake all the blankets were left behind, except one. There were ten members and only one blanket. They had to spend many days with just one blanket in such biting cold. When all the members of the family were their homes, they started from Siriyari to reach Fooled station. The path went down-hill. At night, due to the cold many of them were dozing and others were chanting the Mantra. On the slope gradually, the cart gained speed. Due to this, wife of Ganeshmalji Chajjer, an old woman, fell down. It was very dark and all the people were fast asleep, so they did not come to know about falling of the old woman. The old woman was covered with the blanket, when she fell down the blanket got stuck in the cart and it was pulling her along with it. She just kept on uttering ‘Om Bhikshu’.
The driver of the cart heard her voice and looked back. He was surprised to see her. He then awakened everybody and took care of the old woman. Then he lit a lantern and asked, “Have you got hurt anywhere? She replied confidently, “I am alright, nothing has happened to me because Swamiji was there to protect me.”
She got some scratches on the body but to our Surprise it was not bleeding. She had strong will Power and she was not at all frightened she was only uttering ‘Om Bhikshu’ repeatedly and said, “Just because of Swamiji I am alive today.” All the members of her family were very happy.
