Sadhvi Ashavatiji from Nokhamandiyhad was suffering from an ear-ache. It was summer. There was a constant flow of pus from her left ear. One day ‘she kept a piece of cloth under the ear but after sometime she found that it was full of pus. It was a serious condition, so she called for a doctor, who advised her to undergo an operation. She was not willing to get operated. She continued her homeopathic treatment but it which was not of much help. Then she fasted for three days continuously during Chaturmas and found her ear had recovered. After some days the pus started flowing from her right ear. According to the doctor, the ultimate solution was an operation. Sadhviji was determined not to get operated as she was condiment of faith in her Guru and Swamiji will cure her. In this condition, four years passed., But her will power became strong and she made up her mind to do three days Ayambil {a form of penance} and chanted the Mantra of ‘Om Bhikshu’ continuously. While she was completely engrossed in Japa, she saw a hand giving her the homeopathic medicine and along with that she also heard, “You can take the medicine but the disease will not be cured.” Sadhviji decided not to take any sort of medicine. After completing three days of Ayambil and Japa, she found that there was no pus in her ear. From that day till now she has no such complaint in her ear and she is perfectly alright. She has the same hearing power as she had earlier.
