Saroj was the grand-daughter of Punamchandji Sethia of Sardarshahar. Her father late Sohanlal Sethia was a devoted man and an extempore poet. Saroj was influenced by such religious atmosphere. Once when she was eight years old, she was cleaning utensils on the fourth floor of the building. After cleaning them, she went to throw the waste water. While throwing the water, the utensil slipped out of her grip. She bent down to pick the utensil but lost her balance and fell down on the road. The road was under construction and so it was covered with sharp stones.
When she fell down, she was only chanting the name of ‘Lord Bhikshu.’ After falling, she neither cried nor screamed. Some people were standing by the road- side. They picked her immediately and laid her down on a wooden plank. That time Saroj’s mother was not at home, but she was called for. Hearing about Saroj, her mother got worried. But when she came near Saroj, she saw her reciting the Mantra of ‘Om Bhikshu.’
Saroj’s body was badly bruised and her mother was scared, but the doctor reported that there was nothing to be worried about. She became alright within ten days without any intensive treatment. To everyone’s, surprise Saroj was now blessed with a new life. Her defect in speech and legs were both cured. It was the miraculous heal of the mantra that transformed her life.
