Anupreksha is an incredible process, using which a person through self-suggestion and intent enters the memory of the past life. Through anupreksha one attains clarity in thought. A purer mind emerges. The leshya[1] is cleared up. The meditating person reaches a stage when he is not even aware where he is. While dwelling on incidents of the past, they keep registering in the memory and the person keeps witnessing them.
Leshya is the colour of the aura. Every karmic action invites karmic particles to attach themselves to the soul. When the karmic particles are auspicious the colour is glowing or else the colour is dark. To remove the dark colours and move towards glowing colours, and eventually white colour is the path that of enlightenment.
