Proteins: Proteins help in building cells in the body and keep them active. Proteins also do important work like, growth of our body,maintain heat in our body, extract oxygen from the air and give our body etc. Proteins are adequately available in Milk, Curd, Pulses, Peas, Wheat.

Carbohydrates: It's major work is to provide energy to the body and create heat in the body. Carbohydrates are adequately available in Wheat, Rice, Potato, Sugarcane, Beetroot, Dry Fruits, Sprout and Fruit Juices, etc.

Vasa: Products which contains Vasa, provide double energy and heat then carbohydrate. Vasa also creates required oiliness in the body. Vasa is found adequately in Ghee, Oil and Butter. Excess consumptions of Vasa can develop Fat in the body.

Minerals: Various Minerals are necessary for mankind i.e. Sodium Chloride, Calcium, Iron, Iodine, etc. Sodium Chloride (Normal Salt) is necessary for Blood, Body Liquid and Body Cells. Sodium Chloride remains present in every one's body. It keeps our body healthy and makes our food tasty. Calcium is required to create our bones. Iron is required to make red cells in our body. Iodine is also very essential for our body. All these minerals are available in various kind of food and meals.

Water: Our 2/3 body is made up of water. Water is present in all our organs. It helps in dissolving our food. It also makes our blood thin. Water helps in removing toxins from our body. Water also separates Stool, Urine and Sweat in our body. Water is present in our kidneys, Lungs, Skin and Ribs. These organs continuously discharge water and to complete this shortage we regularly drink water. Water is considered energy for mankind. We should consume at least 8-10 glass of water everyday so that all organs of our body functions properly.

People, who consume less water, may face constipation, indigestion and other stomach related problems. This also leads to less activeness in the internal organs of the body. Less consumption of water also leads to improper working of the kidneys. We should avoid consumption of water in between meals or immediate after meals as it leads to weaken our digestive system.

Vitamin: Vitamins are present in every food product. Some of them have more and some have less quantity. They provide life to mankind. Vitamins of any food can be destroyed if they are over cooked or kept for longer time. People should consume balanced and healthy diet so that our body can get necessary vitamins. People, who doesn't consume healthy diet, faces deficiency of vitamins. Such people get affected by various types of diseases.

There are many types of Vitamins, which are being described here:

Vitamin A: It is available in Milk, Ghee, Butter, Green Leaves and Vegetables. Deficiency of Vitamin A leads to weak digestion. It also leads to various ailments of Eyes, Throat and Breathing.

Vitamin — B1: It is available in Green Vegetables, Wheat, fresh Peas, Sprouted seeds etc. Deficiency of Vitamin B1 leads to weak growth process of the body.

Vitamin B2: It is available adequately in Milk, Green Vegetables, Tomato, etc. Deficiency of Vitamin B2 leads to various ailments of Eyes, Nose and Mouth.

Vitamin — B6: It is available in Grains, Pulses, Rice and Green Vegetables, etc. Deficiency of Vitamin B6 leads to various ailments of Eyes, Nose and Mouth.

Vitamin — B12: The source and work of Vitamin B12 are similar to the Vitamin B6.

Vitamin — C12: It is available in Citrus Fruits like Lemon, Orange, Papaya etc. It is also available in Cabbage, Tomato, Beetroots, etc. Deficiency of Vitamin C12 leads to various ailments of Teeth, Bones, Scurvy, Eczema.

Vitamin — D: It is available in Milk, Butter, Paneer, Sun-rays etc. Deficiency of Vitamin D cause to obstruct growth of the bones.

Vitamin — E: It is available in Sprouted Wheat, Green Vegetables, Spinach, Cabbage and Tomato. Deficiency of Vitamin E leads to various Diseases.

 Vitamin — K: The source and work of Vitamin K are similar to the Vitamin E.

According to Ayurveda " Good health is the key of Life" As per Ayurveda we should have balance of all three elements i.e. Vaat, Pitta and Kapha. Kapha makes Tamo Guna, Vaat makes Rajo Guna and Pitta makes Satva Guna. A person who has balanced elements have balanced nature. Such person doesn't make theft, doesn't get anger, doesn't speak lie, doesn't get proud. In other words such person has divine characteristics.

Balance of all these elements leads to healthy life and imbalance leads to rise in diseases. Various food items which are not good for body can also cause many diseases in our body. Consuming wrong food is the main reason of diseases in the body. If you want to create balance of all three elements, then you have to follow certain rules. We should always take precaution that level of Vaat, Pitta and Kapha should not raise in our body, then their normal level. Every person I should consume healthy and balanced diet. Every person should also consume Juices of Fruits, Lemon and Ginger regularly.

Wrong Food Combination - which are harmful

  1. Milk should not be consumed with the Curd, Salt, Sour things, Tamarind, Musk Melon (Kharbooja), Coconut, Radish (Mooli), Leaf of Radish, Wood Apple, Kuithi, Sour Fruits, Sattu.
  2. Milk should not be consumed by mixing Jaggery with it.
  3. Curd should not be consumed with Kheer, Milk, Paneer, Hot food, Banana or Banana dish, Musk Melon (Kharbooja), Radish (Mooli).
  4. Ghee should not be consumed with Cold Milk, Cold Water and equal quantity of Honey.
  5. Honey should not be consumed along with Radish, Musk Melon, equal quantity of Ghee.
  6. Khira should not be consumed along with the cucumber.
  7. Radish should not be consumed with Jaggery.
  8. Rice should not be consumed with the Vinegar.
  9. Kheer should not be consumed with Sour things, Jackfruit, Sattu.
  10. Honey should not be consumed after heating it.
  11. Patient of Leucoderma should not consume Milk, Curd or products made out of these.
  12. Milk and Jackfruit should not be consumed together.
  13. We should not consume Mattha, Sour things, Fruit juices, Oily Food in the night.
  14. Water should not be consumed immediately after intake of food which contains Oil or Ghee. Water should be taken after 2 hours of intake of such food.
  15. Cold water should not be drunk along with Peanuts, Ghee, Oil, Musk Melon, Guava, Jambu (Jamun), Cucumber, Kheera, Hot Milk, Hot Food.
  16. Watermelon should not be consumed along with Mint and Cold water.
  17. Musk Melon should not be consumed along with Garlic, Radish, Milk and Curd.
