Muni Agarchandji’s mother lost her eyesight. Even after applying various treatments she did not recover her eyesight. She consoled herself thinking that this was her fate. When her son and daughter-in-law enunciated the house, she deeply regretted for her lost eyesight. On one sine she had great affection for the son, and on the other side she felt grief for not being able to see, Whenever she came to visit them she cried a lot and used to say, “Is it possible for me in this life to see my son and daughter-in-law in the form of a monk and a nun?”
All the time she used to pray, “Swamiji! I don’t want anything else. I don’t want eyesight for any other reason except for seeing my son and daughter- in-law. Without eyesight how can I full my desire?” Sometimes she also said, “I think my desire will die with me.” But she continued her life.
Suddenly, one day she regained her eye-sight. She became overjoyed. For a moment she could not believe herself. When she found that she could really see, she said, “The whole credit of regaining my eye- sight goes to my faith towards Swamiji.”
