Ardhapavanmuktasana/Pavanmuktasana

  1. Lie down on your back on die floor. Move the right foot to the right side, inhaling slowly.
  2. While exhaling bring the foot back. Keep it 4" raised from the floor. .
  3. While inhaling bend the right leg from the knee and bring it to touch the chest.
  4. Hold the right knee with both the hands, raise the neck and touch the knee with the nose, as you exhale.
  5. While inhaling slowly bring back the head on the floor.
  6. While exhaling release the grip and straighten the leg. Repeat the same with left leg. This is Ardhapavanmuktasana. In the above sequence practicing with both the legs together is Purnapavanmuktasana.

Sarvangasana

  1. Lie down on the carpet on the back. Stretch your hands parallel to the body Slowly raise both the legs up to 90° while inhaling. Exhale and keep this posi­tion for a short while.
  2. Raise your body in straight line on your shoulders with the support of palms while inhaling. The chin should touch the hollow of the throat, eyes fixed on your toes. Breathe normally and stay in this position for some time
  3. Inhale. while exhaling bring both the legs to 90
  4. Inhale. While exhaling slowly bring back the legs to the ground.
