Expression Skill: A person is always expected to present ' his subject in an effective style. A person can be skillful in expression by following few important elements. It is the result of the skilled expression that the audience becomes cooperative, friendly and receptive. The effect of disregard, dissatisfaction and sadness is seen among the audience because of the ineffective expression. Hence for a trainer the development of expression skill is important Use of appropriate words and sentences of course are required but with no wrote-memory.

  1. Affectionate and co-operative relationships: While delivering the lecture the trainer has to keep in mind that who is the audience? What is their attitude? And what is the purpose of presenting the subject? Generally the attitude of the speaker and the listener is different. So, affectionate and cooperative relation has to be established. For that the following points have to be kept in mind.
    1. To be assiduous to express and listen mutual reactions, respecting the listener's views.
    2. To give importance to the curiosity.
    3. To give the solution respecting the curiosity.
    4. Openness in discussion.
    5. To create such an atmosphere that the listener can solve the curiosity mutually.
    6. A trainer should maintain the oneness in preaching and practicing.

  2. Self Confidence: For the effective expression a trainer has to have self-confidence. For this the total subject knowledge should be mere and more man mat me practise to give the presentation within the allotted time. The expected presentation s to be given in the minimum words. There should not be any pre-assumption in mind that the audience may have no interest towards the subject or it is possible that they may criticize after the lesson is being taught. This type of thought pattern and inferiority complex should not be their.

  3. Charity: A trainer should have an art of presenting the proper words and sentences in a serial during the deliverance of  the  subject. A trainer should prepare the text planning of subject presentation well in advance so the clarity is maintained along with the self-confidence.
The main headings for the lesson planning are as follows:
    1. Unit
    2. Sub Unit
    3. Name of the topic
    4. Allotted time
    5. Objetives of the unit
    6. Outline of the subject matter
    7. Training methods
    8. Supportive training material
    9. Conclusion/ Essence
    10. Evaluation

Most of the presentation and specially experimentation should be from the trainees side and only in presentation of Special material, the trainer should assist only where the trainee requires it. This lesson planning should be with the trainee in advance so that during the presentation, trainees understand with concentration. With this the attention of the trainee will not be distributed in writing the note and listening (A format model of Lesson Planning Apendix-4 be seen).

  4. Control of Emotion : It is beneficial to maintain the melodious and recreative atmosphere in the presentation. With this the listener remains active. The atmosphere should not turn in such a direction that unnecessary or unconcerned incidents open for discussion. With the use of words like I and ME, a trainer should not make the self-ringing. Instead of that, the use of YOU, WE and OUR - should be made. To be rigid and stick upon the statements of self-said may give rise to negative emotion. Afflicted with the emotion or anger, a trainer cannot express properly nor trainee is receptive.

  5. Truthfulness: Although while preparing the plan, the intention is to present according to the text matter prepared but still whatever is felt untrue to the self, should not be presented.
High vocabulary, limited in the language should be presented with melody. It is beneficial for a trainer to keep in vision, the confidential information based on the truth and note in the diary during the time of self study. Good trainers learn from their weaknesses and improve their expression. Some times a trainee asks such a question for which it is not possible to give the proper answer immediately. Hence it is required that the trainer should not unnecessary mix and match the answer beyond the truth. If proper answer cannot be given by him sincerely on the spot, the deserving sincere reply has to be searched and can be given at later date only and it should be assured to trainees. Be frank to admit before trainees to say NO/NOT KNOWN TO ME rather than beating behind the bush.

  6. The types of Expression : A trainer should take up the technique of training depending upon any of the content of the lesson and its objective for the trainees like:
    1. If the plan is to prepare the trainees in context with to prepare them as trainer, then the type of expression will be suggestive - That means (i) suggestion, (ii) presentation, (iii) advice, (iv) guidance - will be included in the language, and technique.

    2. Here the trainee is the future trainer so the attention towards knowledge of responsibility has to be emphasized at every stage.

    3. If the trainees are already from the teaching profession, then the presentation will be on informative basis with which they can use and understand subject matter for their students Here the subject matter of course will be of higher level than that for the students. The presentation will be resolving and discussion based.
    4. If the trainees are students, then the presentation should be encouragement oriented. For this purpose
      1. The students should be encouraged by their work appreciation.
      2. The student should be given a chance for repeated presentation.
      3. To bring their attention from time to time by interesting activities
      4. Students must be encouraged by certificates and rewards.
    5. The style of presentation for the Education officers and the Presidents of the institutions, will be based on cooperativeness. To furnish the complete information in limited time; the true and balanced presentation with sincerity is essential. Making them aware of the responsibility the calculations of the outcomes has to be given, and have to be convinced for the results. Here the trainer will occupy a place of co-member. Keep with you the genuine record book, folder, literature etc., and produce the same in the sequence along with passing informations.
