According to Science of Living, following four methods can be considered important. Other methods from the above list can also be used as per their merit and need.

lecture Method

This method is based on lecture. Generally in this method the educator remains active and he delivers more information to the audience in less time The benefit derived from this depends on the concentration of the listener. This method is used generally in educating the subject related people and to train the teachers who have previous teaching background. The effectiveness is less known by this method as compared to the methods discussed below.

Participatory Method

In this method the development of the subject takes place with the sequential questions asked by the trainer and the answers given by the participants. In this method, while preparing the course material, the questions and their related answers arc carefully prepared and the same are altered as and when felt essential depending on the response from the participants. The question is asked to the participant till the right answer does not come from them only, but if the right answer docs not come even with the answers of three to four of them; then the trainer himself answers the same. In this way the sequence of questions and their reply keeps on going and the course keeps on moving ahead. In between time be allotted for the clarification of the curiosity of the participants. The suggestive answer may come from the other participants but the clarification has to be given by the trainer himself appreciating the given answer.

In this method both the trainer and the participants remain active. The subject should be mentioned on the black board immediately with the commencement of the class. See that each and every point is being explained by the question-answer method. In this method the trainer is required to pre-prepare him, he should develop daily lesson plan for him. The subject here covers more time, in comparison to the lecture method for subject development. However the effectiveness remains greater than as per lecture method.
