Fifth Exercise

Exhale with this the abdomen will contract. Now make the mouth like the beak of a crow and inhale through it to such an extent that abdomen, lungs, throat, and cheeks expand. Place the chin in the hollow of neck. Apply Mulbandha and retain the breath. Exhale through the nose and bring back your neck in position. After full exha­lation, repeat the process.

With this practise the heat increases in the body. Persons with hot temperament should not practise this exercise during the summer. During the winter, this can be practised three times.

Sixth Exercise

Stand in the preparatory posi­tion. Place your hands at waist keeping the fingers placed on the back and the thumbs in the front, as if you are holding the waist with both hands. Bend the body in front at the angle of 30 degree is formed. Keep the legs straight with-« out bending. Now in this position, inhale and exhale ten times.

Seventh Exercise

Stand in the preparatory position. Place your hands at waist like in the sixth exercise Bend your body till 90 degree Keep your legs straight. Now inhale and exhale lastly, ten times

Eighth Exercise

Stand in the preparatory position. Place your hands at waist like in the sixth exercise at 30 degree Exhale. The abdomen will con­tract. Now while performing the outer retention, conduct the abdomen in and out. Come back in the initial position.
