One important factor, which contributes to health, is the blood circulation. There would be no pain of any kind if the blood circulates properly in our body. The less the blood circulation, the more would be the pain. The more balanced blood circulation means less pain. It can be said that less blood circulation is another name for pain. When the blood gets jammed and cannot move forward, the pain starts. The asanas are very important from the point of view of proper blood circulation. The asanas maintain the process of the proper blood circulation. They also purify the blood.
