There are five senses of the concomitant part of knowledge. Our consciousness is expressed through these senses. If we go beyond this, there is a centre of consciousness between the sensuous consciousness and the super sensuous consciousness, which is the pratibha chetana or the ingenious consciousness, known as sambhinnasrotolabdhi. There is a particular power within us by studying, it is possible to see, hear and touch even with the finger. The functions of all the senses can be performed with just one finger, can be cheared and can be touched. One finger can do whole work of lens organs. Our eyes see. This means that we have developed the cells of the eye to such an extent that they developed this power and became transparent. Just as we developed the power of the eye, we can develop any other organ of the body. All these points have been explained through the medium of sambhinnasrotolabdhi. The parts related to the super sensuous consciousness are also resided in our body. This subject has been treated with the minutest details in the Nandisutra. The appropriate organs through which the super sensuous consciousness comes out are situated in the front portion of the body as well as at the back. They are also situated in the right and left sides of the body as well as in the upper and lower parts. Those centres exist in our body on all the five sides, whereby our consciousness can come out and knows about the super-sensuous subject.

This was explained through an example: A meshed cover was placed over a lamp. The light of the lamp did not come out directly but through the holes of the meshed cover. There are similar holes all over our body too through which the rays of consciousness can come out. Just as there are concomitant centres of knowledge in our body, there are also the centres that obstruct knowledge. These latter centres do not let knowledge come out. There are centres related to sensitivity in our body as well as the centres that obstruct sensitivity. This means that there are in our body the centres related to every function and they are concomitant.

Modern physiologists have identified them. How does the message of sensitivity get inside our body and how does it come out? How is it experienced? There are also the concomitant centres of illusion in our body. These are the centres in which the deluding karma manifests itself. The metaphysics which create obstruction and diminish our power are situated in our body. If we think about this keeping in mind the karmashastra and karma-sharira, we would find the centres in our body; whereby it is possible to awaken the powers of hundred kinds. One of those powers is related to our health. The currents and vibrations coming out from inside influence our body. There are a number of diseases that do not seem to have any external cause. There is no particular thought, no virus or no ecological factor nothing is there yet the disease comes out. Those vibrations come to the gross body through the karmasharira and the taijas-sharira. The taijas-sharira is the power that produces our vitality. When there is some disturbance or disorder in this our body becomes sick. In this context, while dealing with the problem of health, we shall have to think about the connection between both the bodies.
