Actually, that illness which has neither affected the body nor the mind is neither somatic nor psychosomatic. It is neither a physical nor a mental illness. It is an illness related to the emotions. It has got into the world of the bhava. Research in the modern medical science can be a witness to it. Those researchers have shown that the aura of the body gives indication about impending illness that may be coming within three or six months. This aura reflects our emotions. As our bhava is, so is our aura of the body. These days, some scientists in Chennai and Pune are diagnosing illness through the photographs of the aura of the body. A doctor in Pune, Dr. Kalyan Gangwal, studied prekshadhyan by reading about it. He developed instruments to examine the aura of the body. He photographs the aura and diagnoses the disease on the basis of these photographs. The disease diagnosed through the aura is not found in any organ or the body. It is not a physical illness, nor is it a mental illness. But it is an illness related to the bhava which can be known through the aura of the body. The indication of that disease is given by the aura of the living being. If the bhava is good, so would be the aura of the body. If the bhava is bad, the aura would be distorted. If we wish to remain healthy, protect ourselves against illnesses, we shall have to be vigilant about our aura. Getting some injury or getting cold in winter are common things. But if we wish to protect ourselves major illnesses, we shall have to go to the central point, which is the centre of the bhava. If our bhava is pure, we cannot have any major disease.
