If the present situation is pondered upon then a point becomes clear that violence is going on increasing day-by-day. As a consequence the public life is full of sins, injustice, deception, corruption and many other vices. To make life healthy by erasing such vices the only substitute is non-violence. So, it becomes extremely necessary that non-violence must be spread far and wide. The public must be made aware of it. By this effort every person would become non-violent. Violence would be rooted out completely; it will put an end to all vices, to think this way would be an exaggeration. With relentless efforts put in this direction only a certain percentage of mass would be able to take the vow of non-violence fully and in a way it is alright. To get over instincts such as sex and anger is not an easy task. It is an ideal state. Even after being aware of the benefits of non-violence it is not possible for every person to dedicate their life in penance of it. Therefore, no question must be raised regarding the transmission and propaganda of non-violence. If not fully but to a certain extent one may abide by the laws of non-violence. Every person cannot reach the ideal state of it but step by step one may move ahead in that direction.
Ways of Opposing Violence
The question arises as to why violence is being spread at a rapid pace? In my view unlimited extension of desires parochialism extreme attachment and ambition to be great-these are the few reasons that can be held responsible for enhancement of violence Controlling desires, non-parochial feelings, considering everyone a relative and to seek one in many are some of the traits that must be encouraged to weaken the causes that give birth to violence. If the causes are restricted then violence would also reduce on 1ts own accord. Its extension can be prevented.
How to Establish Non-Violence
How to establish non-violence in an environment of violence? The direct answer of this question would be restraining desires and non- parochial feelings. A person encouraging the aforesaid traits can play an active role in establishing non-violence. If the tide of establishing non-violence moves ahead from individual and spreads in society then an ocean of peace would overflow in public life. Some small rules concerning the multi-dimensional development and establishment of non-violence under ‘Annubrat’ movement are certainly effective for an individual but they are equally effective for the society and worth applying. I believe that if efforts are put in that direction deliberately then creating a healthy society could be easily materialized, must concentrate their energy in that direction.
