27th July

You walk.

Before keeping the next foot forward, think.
How much strength does your foot have?
Without measuring one's strength, to put forward one's foot is not without dangers.

You talk.
Before uttering the next word, measure how much strength there is in your speech.
Without evaluating your speech, to speak further is not without dangers.

You work.
Before undertaking any work measure how much work energy you possess.
Without assessing your power, to undertake work is not without dangers

the second step,
the second word
and the second hand
will be the touchstone of your discrimination.
