A lot of thinking has been done on transformation and non-transformation.
Some ideas are subject to change, some not.
That which can not be transformed is referred to as destiny.
There is a long tradition of the believers in destiny.
From time to time, some literature has been written on the subject.
One sloka (Vers) from that is:
Bhavitavyam bhavatyeva naalikeraphalambuvat, gacchatyeva hi gantavyam, gajabhuktakapittha vat.
The roots of the coconut palm are watered, but the waters reach the top, that is destiny.
The elephant eats wood apple and retains its pulp in its stomach expelling the rest, that is destiny.
Both effort and destiny are truths.
They should be reflected upon with equal merit.
