Development has an impediment - the mindset of working less and charging more.
Holidays are the second impediment.
In our spiritual order, there is no leave, no holiday.
Everyday the essential jobs have to be done.
One method of taking a holiday has been found: by doing tapasya or observing austerities.
If a great man has to be remembered, do so by fasting that day, by restraining from food. Not by stopping work.
It is said that in India there are far too many holidays.
To have so many holidays in a developing country is to give development itself a holiday!
Are too many holidays not worrisome in the context of the development of the state and society?
