That journey, the journey which never ends in a lifetime:
in fact not just in one life, but in many lives to come, is known as Deeksha.
The journey is towards Mahavrat (the great vows), the goals are very high and the destination very far away.
To reach it is self realisation or emancipation.

The more aware the spiritual traveller is, the faster his progress.
If awareness is reduced then the speed also reduces.
That is why it is necessary to constantly increase the qualities of detachment and self awakening.
