Unit 3. Right Posture

Practicing posture body becomes healthy, balanced and strong.

Practice Aasanas in pure air it makes the healthy body.
The physical, mental and emotional illnesses come to an end and hence the chain of karma breaks.
The asana influences the endocrine glands and with their healthy secretions, the control over the emotions is attained.

Principle Content

  1. The types of Mudras, their methodology and their benefits.
  2. The types of Asanas, their method, the benefits, the flexibility of the body and to be healthy.
  3. Yogic Exercises and their benefits.

Practise and Activities

  1. To remove the defective postures and to practise the right exercises in routine life like to sit, to get up, to stand, to walk, to study, to eat, etc...
  2. The practise of different Asanas in accordance with the age, health and their value.
  3. The Asanas to supplement in the sports and games along with the competitions.
  4. The yogic exercises related to neck, abdomen, and spine, prac­tice according to standard.
  5. To make the charts for Mudras, Asanas and Yogic Exercises

Learning Outcomes

  1. 1. The person will be physically healthy and accordingly mental health will also improve.
  2. The change in nature and habits will take place.
  3. The student will be able to understand the advantage and dis­advantage of each Asana.
  4. Ailments will not occur.

Unit 4. Right Breathing

With right breathing the energy is increased, anger is balanced and memory is developed


Pranayam is a training for breathing, learn and make use of it.
The long life is achieved through it invest it in good deeds.
Those who practice deep breathing are calm persons Only those doers attain long life and find change in their habits.

Principle Content

  1. Breathing is more important than food. It is a bridge between the body and consciousness.
  2. Proper use of breathing.
  3. Breathing system.
  4. Deep breathing, morning walk, Pranayama, breath control, change in nature.
  5. Regarding spirituality and science of breathing.

Practise and Activities

  1. The method of breathing in pure air, the practise with nostrils, use of muscles of chest, shoulders and diaphragm.
  2. To inculcate a habit of walking.
  3. Pranayama- Chandrabhedi, suryabhedi, anulom-vilom.

Learning Outcomes

  1. The student will be able to perform right breathing.
  2. The perception of breathing will be attained (Swas Preksha).
  3. The student will be able to contemplate to maintain the physi­cal health and attain mental balance.
