Asanas to be practised while lying down on the back

1. Suptatadasana 

  1. Lie down on your back on the carpet. By intertwining the fingers of both the hands move them upward and the legs downward.
  2. Create tension by drawing them tight while exhaling.
  3. Bring back the hands while inhaling.
  4. Exhale and relax the whole body.

Benefits

  1. Concentration is increase
  2. With the regular practise, one gets rid of abdominal complaints
  3. Mind becomes peaceful
  4. Stress comes to an end

2. Uttanpadasan 

  1. Lie straight on the back. Taking in deep breath, raise your legs straight in the same position upwards to 30 degree without bending at knees.
  2. Breathe out bringing your legs slowly down on to the ground.
  3. Breathe in and raise your legs up to 60 degree.
  4. Breathe out and slowly bring your legs on the ground.

  1. It cures different abdominal diseases
  2. Corrects displacements of naval
  3. It reduces extra fat of the stomach
  4. It is beneficial for people suffering from hernia
