The Support Of Faith: 07 ►Authority of Values Eternal

Even a thousand burning candles cannot make a blind man able to see the object before him. If you have sight, even a single candle is sufficient. The Sun shines with its magnificent light. It makes our eyes dazzled. Can even that light bestow sight to a blind man? If there is sight in eyes, even a beam of light can help.

There is a network of roads in cities. Crossings at places facilitate speed. But, if you have no destination to go, no road can help you. If you know your destination, any of the four directions at a crossing can lead you to your destination. Therefore, knowledge of your destination is essential for making ones advancement fruitful.

The sight of your eyes is related to right perception and your conduct is related to the path you are going to take. A man having perfect sight and unblemished character can never fail. Today we are facing unprecedented crisis of perception. This is an age when people want to get acceptance in society on the basis of their riches and justify their behaviour based on reason. People unsound in wealth as well as wisdom are disregarded in society even though on right path.

Some people believe that thought and behaviour constantly changes. Then, how can an individual are judged on the basis of his thought and behaviour? This is only aspect of reality complete reality cannot be expressed in this statement. I accept that change is inevitable. At the same time, I would like to add that review of eternal and contemporary values should be made with reference to their perspective. I firmly believe in universality of eternal values. No one can challenge their authority.
