But this is cent-percent true that self-confidence is such a power that builds road by digging mountains of hardships and water of rain-starved rivers flows away.
Where there is will, there is away—this proverb also reveals the capability of self-confidence. Man’s self-confidence is increasing constantly in material field. New inventions of science confirm this fact. A doctor of Sweden has manufactured an apparatus by which surgical treatment can be made without blood shedding. This apparatus named ‘Gama Helmet’ emanates Gama rays through 179 holes. These rays enter into the body and disrupt the blood-cells internally.
In Japan a robot has been made which looks like a spider and which can climb on walls. This spider looking robot is used for cleaning very high walls. Culture of man-machine will make the men inactive and valueless. New inventions are being made without thinking over the above fact. This is likely to be the result of the initiative of some self-confident and resolute persons.
This is not a matter of concern that man is progressing uninterruptedly in the field of Science and Technology. Divergent attitude towards moral and spiritual value is the matter of concern. God knows why self-confidence of man towards these fields is lagging behind. Which suspicion or fear is hindering in grooming up of self-confidence? The most important source of creative power in life is self-confidence Where this source dries up, the glory of face fades away.
When man will believe that non-violence is more powerful than violence, truth is more effective weapon than lie, simplicity is more pleasing than showmanship, feeling of love and equality is more effective than hatred and discrimination—on that juncture man’s self-confidence will be like a mile-stone in building up human culture. It is required that self-confidence is developed and divert the so-called route. Man should once realize the power of self-confidence clubbed with the values of character. After that he can decide himself his own destination.
