Fourteenth Apex conference of seven developed countries of the world was held at Toronto in the beginning of the year 1990. Participating countries in the conference were—America, Britain, West Germany, Italy, Japan, Canada and France. Administrative chiefs of these countries were present in the conference. Various problems at international level were discussed there. Among these problems, one was the preservation of environment and protection of human rights. Functionaries of different organizations,-working in these areas, blamed these seven countries for polluting the environment mainly. Unless the nation is going ahead to build up new milestone of development in the world, are not aware about these problems, the danger of human existence in the world will be hovering around the earth.
Poisonous effect of atomic explosion affects the human life. The infertility of land is the result of the attitude of those men who hanker after facilities. Nature provides nourishment, assurance and pleasure to men. The momentary attachment with it overwhelms man with joy. The person becoming knowledgeable and prosperous, But they are forgetting the habit of living in nature. Neither he sleeps in the natural air, nor he takes food prepared by natural fuel and plays in the natural surroundings. As a result of this, perhaps the nature is changing its formation and men are facing the natural calamities.
Water and vegetables are the inevitable necessities of human life. Human life is not possible without these things. But it does not mean that these are to be used excessively. Whether the man has the capacity to wet the dry land or not, why should he misuse the water? How we can say it cleverness to take bath hours after hours after opening the shower and get the water flow unnecessarily. The work which can be done by using five kilos of water, in that situation if fifty kilos of water is drained, whether it will not aggravate the crisis of water?
Vegetables keep the human race alive. It gives oxygen and absorbs carbon-di-oxide. This process helps man to recover himself. They contribute much to enrich the age. Men are so cruel to this useful element that they are getting the forests wiped out fastly. The earth being undressed is challenging us. What should be the way to encounter that challenge?
Restraint is one of the important factors of the values of life. If a man maintains restraint on taking food and drinking water even partially, imbalance of environment may be checked. It is not the solution to victimize only the developed nations. If each and every person if the world habituates the utility of restraint and debars himself from polluting the environment, aggravation of this vital problem can be prevented.
